Event Description
This is the 33rd running of a spring classic.  Proceeds from the event benefit the Sheldon High School Track & Field program.

Distances
This event features a 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk, and a 10K (6.2 miles) run.

Location
Alton Baker Park - Eugene, Oregon.

Course
The courses are flat, fast and scenic, through Alton Baker Park, along the Willamette River bike paths, with the 5K crossing over the Autzen and DeFazio bridges and the 10K crossing the Autzen and Greenway bridges.  Click here for a 10K COURSE MAP.  Click here for a 5K COURSE MAP.

Entry Fees
$15, without a t-shirt, $20 with a t-shirt through Friday, March 5, 2010.  Add $5 on race day.

Registration
In person at the Eugene Running Company (116 Oakway Center)  through Thursday, March 11, or Shamrock Flowers & Gifts (1520 Coburg Rd) through Friday, March 12.  By mail, send completed entry form to: Run For The Shamrock, Sheldon HS, 2455 Willakenzie Rd, Eugene, OR 97401.   Entry forms and online registration will be available soon.  Race day registration will be from 8:00am to 9:15am.   Packet pickup will be at Shamrock Flowers & Gifts on Friday, March 12, from 11:00am-1:30pm and 4:00pm-6:00pm, or on race day.

Awards
Awards will be presented in both the 5K and 10K runs to the top three overall male and female finishers and the top three in each age group.  All participants will be eligible for random prize drawings.
