Who are the Portland Frontrunners?
We are the Portland Frontrunners: a running club for lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgender and queer individuals and their friends in the Portland, Oregon area. We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and are also a member of the International Front Runners and the Road Runners Club of America.
Our mission is to promote good health and provide an opportunity for positive social interaction through running, walking and club events in a supportive, LGBT running community. Some members participate to get in a good jog a couple times a week - while others show up to train seriously for competitive events like road races, triathlons and adventure races.
Whether you’re a running novice, a walker, a triathlete or a seasoned marathoner, we welcome runners of ALL abilities and interests. So come and join us on our Three Weekly Runs and the Upcoming Special Events listed below. See the Calendar for more information on these events.
